“I want to stay here forever,” my daughter, then 9 years old, whispered to me while we were in a bookstore. I had to smile. We both shared this wonderful passion for reading. And the smell of books..as you flip the pages?.. Fine, that sounded weird. But you get the picture. I am certain a lot of people can relate.
My book likes have changed over the years but the desire to read and learn remains a part of me. Due to my ignorance and mistakes in the past, I am learning to become more conscious – and I hope, responsible – of what I read.
I would love to share my thoughts about books or articles which have shaped how I think now and have helped in so many ways, on top of the mere pleasure of reading.
Drop by and join me in this incredible and exciting journey…of reading 🙂
